DJIA

  • Failed to break through resistance of 200 day moving average. Long-term trend still negative, short-term trend flatting.
  • Relative Strength Index (RSI) has come down from over bought level (70+) which is used by bearish traders as a sell signal and has moved closer to 50 (Neutral). This reading generally suggests that the buyers and sellers of the stock are nearing a balancing point

TSX

  • Broke through 200 day moving average and has consolidated above it. Long term trend has gone from negative to neutral, short- term trend moving higher. Financial and commodity components of the index are helping to strengthen the upward movement.
  • Relative Strength Index (RSI) has come down from over bought level (70+) which is used by bearish traders as a sell signal and has moved closer to 50 (Neutral). This reading generally suggests that the buyers and sellers of the stock are nearing a balancing point
